Glossary

Our glossary lists all the terms with the related meanings we used in Addplus. If a word is not clear to you, this is the right place.

1 QR Code mode for document management

QR Code mode in Add plus are 2: dynamic and multi-dynamic. The dynamic mode allows you to view only one of the types to which the QR addresses; converting it in the multi-dynamic mode it is possible to display all the types simultaneously. Both modes, being of the dynamic type, can be re-edited in the contents to which they address.

2 Type of QR Code for document management

The default types for creating a QR Code are 4: webpage, file, url and vcard.
It is possible to address a QR Code to only one of these (dynamic mode) either to all at the same time (multi dynamic mode) or even to many of each of these simultaneously (multi dynamic plus mode).

3 Command buttons

The command buttons are 2 and they are placed at the right edge of the main windows: Create/+ and ADD. The button “+” allows the creation of new archives, new projects or new QR Codes according to the level you are in. The ADD button activates the QRcoding function of a pdf file both with one click or with drag and drop.

4 Function buttons

The function buttons are 5: ADD, Export, Copy, Share and Delete; they are found in the QR Code editing window, under the preview of QR Code, and they can also be activated in the library view when the cursor passes over a folder/QR.

5 Search button

The search of QR Code, at the top right edge of the library space, takes dynamically place with recognition of the titles after having inserted at least three characters that make up the name.

6 Order button

Next to the search button, at the top right edge in the “library space” of the archives screen, the order allows to view the shelves/archives according to the alphabetical order or according to the creation order (by date), ascending or descending according to how you choose it.

7 Editing window

The editing window is the section in which an element can be modified and/or managed, both whether this is an Archive, a Project or a QR Code. For accessing to it you nedd just click on the edit icon visible on the management menu of each of these.

8 Library View

The innovative Library View is the default resource display mode within Add plus on PC. It consists of arranging archives, projects and QR Code as shelving. Under this view it is possible to move QR Code and projects from one archive to another by dragging the elements with drag and drop.

9 List View

The List View is an alternative to the Library View and the default resource display mode for mobile devices like as smartphone. To view it just click on menu> list view. In this mode it is possible to move QR Code and projects from one shelf to the other by dragging the elements from the tools.

10 Library Space

This is Add plus main screen in the library view, where the archives, projects and QR Codes are displayed in the form of shelves (archives), projects and bfolders (QR codes).

11 Plus

It is a functional option reserved for Add plus multi-dynamic QR codes mode. It has every type of QR Code repeated “n” times. For example 3 webpages, 2 url, 4 files and 2 vcards. It is activated by a button within QR Code editing window.

12 Q

It is a functional option reserved for Add plus multi-dynamic QR code mode. It allows of arranging under a single QR code “n” QR codes previously created. Its use allows you to create a chronological structure of same type QR or in any case of those already existing. It is activated by a button within QR Code editing window.

13 Web page

It is one of the types of contents that can be selected for a Qr Code and it consists of a web page, defined and customized by the user with the tools made available in the user interface of the software, to which QR addresses.

14 Url

It is one of the types of contents that can be selected for a QR Code and it allows to address QR Code directly towards a specific web address filled in by the user. The address can refer to any web accessible content made (site, video, blog, track, map, in the cloud, etc.).

15 Vcard

It is one of the types of contents that can be selected for a QR Code and it allows to address QR Code towards an electronic business card that the user can identify by filling in his/her contacts, social networks and more.

16 File

It is one of the types of contents that can be selected for a Qr Code and it allows to address QR Code to a file.
Note. The file can be uploaded to own cloud manager, previously selected from those provided in the main menu Cloud section, or connected with sharing link provided by own cloud manager.

17 QR code style

It is the section within QR Code edit Window with which a user can customize it, modifying its foreground and background color, size (in pixels), quality. It is possible to predefine these style values ​​while creating archives and projects in the related editing windows.

18 Edit Landing page

It is QR Code landing page after its framing. It can be edited by changing the color and background elements, text and header and default setting when archives and projects are created. It is also possible to modify it from the editing window of a QR Code where it is always possible, among other things, to change the default logo/image on the header.

19 Multi Dynamic label style

Labels are visible only for multi-dynamic QR Codes. They differentiate the various types of QR Codes displayed simultaneously, grouping those of the same type. It is possible to edit the text color, specification notes and to insert a logo/image custom designing them.

20 Main menu (side menu)

The main menu, placed on the left side of each screen, allows you to navigate through the archive views and tools, within own Account, to choose the language and to access to this quick guide.

21 Horizontal menu

The horizontal menu is the one that allows the management of an Archive. From this menu you can create a new Project, edit, share or delete an Archive.

22 Vertical menu

The vertical menu is the one that allows the management of a Project. From this menu you can create a new Qr Code, edit, share or delete a Project. In the list view it can take the horizontal menu shape.

23 File/QR menu

File or QR menu is the one that allows the management of a QR Code and it is activated when the cursor get through. From this you can edit, share, view, copy, export or delete a QR Code. In the List View it can take the horizontal menu shape.
